.300 Win Mag Recommendations
After quite a bit of caliber research, I settled on the .300 Win Mag and was curious if anyone here had any suggestions. My only requirement is that it be magazine fed. Off the cuff, the Savage 110 Tactical seems like a decent option and the Ruger Precision looks awesome, but I'm sure that there are plenty that I'm overlooking. This will be primarily for 500 yard target shooting, and I'm capping the budget at $3,000. Thanks for any suggestions!

Sako makes very nice rifles. I own a Tikka which was manufactured by Sako.

Virtually every manufacturer has a quality offering(s) well under your price point with those specs. Remington, Savage, Tikka, Bergara, Ruger, etc. You should be able to find something nice, and still have enough cash left for good glass.

The Ruger Hawkeye long range is a good gun. It's a bit heavy but should be ok since it's going to be used as a target rifle. It's also got good mag capacity at 5+1. I like the 3 position safety too. I have seen them as low as $800 but the avg price is around $1200. Good luck whichever way you decide to go!
Re: .300 Win Mag Recommendations
The savage rifles are nice but if there is a drawback it*s they can be heavy. I have 2 both with accustocks and they are heavier than necessary. Weatherby makes some nice ones even in the vanguard models and they have 24* barrels but are not detachable mags. I love my tikka rifles and highly recommend them above anything else they are lighter and shoot like tack drivers. I have one in 30.06 and other is 7mag and recoil is easy in both I would imagine 300wm wouldn*t be any different
