Re: Introduction and thanks
The Navy welcomes Coasties and Ground Pounders.
My Dad and I were both Machinist Mates MM3 and MM2 respectively. I outranked my Dad but boy did he outrank me at the railroad, not even close. My Uncle was a Senior Chief Bos'ns Mate and dang was he an awnry critter.
Carry on.
Re: Introduction and thanks
That's awesome, Jennifer. You, your dad, and your awnry uncle all have my respect.
Carrying on,

Welcome to the forum Bosun, and thanks for your service. I have a great love of the USCG as I spent a lot of time offshore from Sandy Hook.
I also spend a lot of time in the WV panhandle (Weirton) as it's only 7 or so miles from my house.

You will find many types of whistles here.

Welcome Bosun. Are you life long Pennsylvanian or a trans plant? Stay out the lounge, it’s scary in there.

A plant's decision is private.
Thanks for your service and welcome, Bo.
Re: Introduction and thanks
Cape May is home to the USCG boot camp. I vacationed in CM numerous times and ate dinner at the Lobster House, which is right across the bay. Highly recommended...

Thank you, Bobgun. I've spent some time around Sandy Hook and enjoy visiting WV. Perhaps we'll cross paths eventually.

@Berncly puts it as well as any. Experience. Banter. Insults. That's PAFOA.
Plus info. You'll find plenty of that too.
PS - Go F yourself. (figured I'd get you rolling on the insults front)
Welcome to the club.
