Bear season is in, what*s their excuse?
I realize attacks by animal or humans often happen without or with little warning. However after the woman was attacked, and the man is wearing an FN hat I suspect he owns a firearm so why didn't he keep the gun handy in the event the bear makes another visit. Which leads me to my next criticism; with all that stuff in the back yard the best he could come up with as a make shift weapon was a flimsy curtain rod? Couldn't he find the fly swatter?
Seriously, the woman was seriously attacked, now the dog, he better get prepared for the next time with bear sprays at the doorways, have firearm ready, and impact weapons more potent than a curtain rod.
Can you imagine people enticing a bear to come into the house? It happens. Or tourists in western parks running up hills to intercept a bear they spotted, dragging the kids along with them. Walt Disney is responsible for injury and death, and his estate should be sued, same as gun manufacturers.
Fishy. Very fishy!
