looking for recommendation 45acp pistol 14rds
hi all....im looking for a recommendation on a pistol. I have been wanting a 45acp caliber pistol....something with 14+ rounds...this will be for targets and to keep in a second home....occasional concealed carry when I'm able. I have a few other 45acp handguns so I want to stay on that caliber. Any thoughts out there? Thanks in advance!
Re: looking for recommendation 45acp pistol 14rds
Not the easiest to conceal, but the FNP .45 is a nice high cap 45.
Re: looking for recommendation 45acp pistol 14rds
At 14+ rounds of .45 I think your choices are fairly slim. Maybe FNX and Glock, I think most double stack .45s are in the 11-12 range.
Re: looking for recommendation 45acp pistol 14rds
I really enjoy shooting my FNX .45.

http://www.fnhusa.com/index.php?cID=509 Is there another polymer that holds 14 + in the mag?
Re: looking for recommendation 45acp pistol 14rds
I have the FNP 45 and love it. Never had a failure, and is extremely accurate. Handles recoil very well and in my opinion has a nice grip.
Re: looking for recommendation 45acp pistol 14rds
M&P 45. You can get 14 rounds factory mags for them.
Re: looking for recommendation 45acp pistol 14rds
another happy Fnp 45 owner here 15+1.
Re: looking for recommendation 45acp pistol 14rds
Well the FNX 45 is a very nice gun to shoot at a reasonable price. No complaints there.
Also the Para Ordinance 14 rounder with the weighted base and match barrel is a tack driver, but it's a heavy gun.

Springfield XD and XDM are close at 13+1.
