He had no idea.
I moved here from PRNJ in 2007, and apart from at the range and at gun stores/gun shows, the first time I can remember seeing someone open-carrying was 2017. I have only seen it a few times since. That might also have to do with the fact that I've only lived in Bucks and Montgomery counties.
At first I found it a little unusual, but I think that's from being a transplant. At this point I think it's great, because all the pro-2A Democrats have disappeared, and I like seeing anti-gunners mentally/emotionally squirm.
I would open-carry, but I worry about the "tactical" implications in any kind of emergency situation (aka bad guy attacking me first)

There was a member on here (American1776) who used to post about all his open carry encounters in your area. IIRC, most were negative. I open carry out here sometimes, most people don't even notice. I did have a guy complain in the Wegman's at the Montgomeryville location, but I just ignored him.

I do have some "edgy" pro-2A t-shirts that I wear out in the area sometimes. I've gotten some strange/disapproving looks, but no actual negative comments. Have gotten a few positive comments or thumbs up from random people.

Surprised anyone noticed , since everyone in there seems to look down their noses at everyone else.
I once caught a lecture from a Redner's asst. manager over an NRA cap I was wearing because one of the Redner family was ''killed by a gun!''.
