Washed 38 ammo in laundry, opinions???
So the other day I washed a pair of pants with a speed strip full of my 38 carry ammo (Fiocchi).
What's the general consensus on the reliability of the ammo now that it's been through a wash cycle?
My feeling is it's probably fine to carry but why take the chance, I have more ammo.

I bet it is now some clean shooting ammo.

I'm in this camp, the worst it can do is not go off or maybe give you a squib. Just make sure you don't get a squib and if you do, remove it. If you reload, you should able to break it down and reuse everything but the powder. I'm told that primers dry out but powder won't recover.

I did it with 357 a while ago, this is what I did. It all went bang, but I think there was less recoil on 1 or 2 of them. Could have been my imagination though since I was waiting for a squib or hang fire.
