Yeah, I got PMed by another member saying the same thing. It was in the rulebook I was reading, so I dunno. :)
Either way, it's still pretty expensive for what I want to use it for.

Well, you could always come to a meeting and clarify the 1 round BS you read about.
As for the "pretty expensive" cost. It's actually not a bad deal for the amount and variety the club offers. $75 for the first year ($50/year $25 initiation fee) after that is just $50 per year. They also give a discount of $20 if you give the club a measly 8 hours of work!
Is $30 per year really that much?
Stop by Triangle Sporting Goods just outside of Ellwood City, Pa on Route 488 on the way to Portersville and see Don.
He has a very nice selection to choose from and the service, pricing and hospitality can’t be beat.
Stop in and see Don, take a look around, you will not be disappointed!!!

Ive been in Duke's and Sportsmans Supply in butler. most of Duke's guns i find to be a bit expensive, but i did get a good deal on a used stainless Super blackhawk .44 mag this past fall. and bought a New H&R single shot .204 Ruger there. the H&R was the cheapest of any place i called around to. Good service at Duke's though. and Sportsman Supply: i didnt do much shopping around there i went on a mission to buy a Savage MKII .22 rifle and it was the best price around. got good service while there.
Morris Firearms on 422 out towards NCST. The owner Jerrid is knowledgeable, and while its a small shop, he'll order whatever you need. I've bought at least 6 guns from him over the past year, and he's done right by me every time.
A couple months ago I sold him a Taurus PT25 of mine that was just sitting around collecting dust, literally... lol I asked 50 bucks for it, and he took it... I just wanted it gone, I don't like neglecting guns... lol
I never have money laying around or else I would join Castlewood... I've shot there many, many times and i love it. Great people, real friendly... lol

Looks like we'll be shooting steel and a Texas Star at Castlewood tonight. Public is welcome.

I emailed Dukes about a rifle on GunBroker and their response was; "Yes you can pick it up here. We can do the registration for you here. I'm not sure what a LTCF is."
