100%. Above $50 it's a turn off for sure. And not just for transfers
Re: Transfer Fees going up
If you're in Pottstown, hit Hudsons on rt100. $35
Re: Transfer Fees going up
We charge range members $20 and non-members $35 for transfers the past few years. Extra items on same 4473 are $10 each.
Transfers on NFA items (suppressors, SBS's, SBR's, AOW) are $75, while MG's and DD's are $200.
Our PICS fees haven't changed in 10+ years, but our employee cost sure have.
No transfer fees if we sell the item.

King's used to be a good place to go for prices, but when I was there yesterday, they had the Ruger LC carbine in 5.7 and it was $200+ more than online vendors. So that was why I was surprised that they wanted $75 for internet purchase.
Agreed, their prices are pretty much set to attract only non-enthusiasts who aren't aware of market prices.

I remember people on this forum telling us King's didn't do internet transfers or maybe it was them in actuality. Not interested enough to use the forum's crappy search to find it. It's the only search that's worse than the one on my forum. Either way I use a nice guy near Embreeville that uses the ePics too, $35.

See these are normal. Pretty sure $75 for a plain 4473 would stop me from ever using a shop.

Update - CLICK HERE for Kerper's transfer fees.
Re: Transfer Fees going up
Hop on Gunbroker and do an FFL search. Most of them list their fees there.
