When my transmission went a few years ago, the AAA guy came and hooked my truck up in an absolute downpour.
When he pulled up I asked him if he wanted to wait a few minutes because it was obvious that it was going to pass soon.
He said something about not getting paid if he isn't working and being monitored for the time every stop takes and just went out there in the pounding rain to get it onto the flatbed.
I didn't tip him because I didn't have any cash on me, but I did take the time to write up a good review for him.
The tip was just about right.
If they want more than they tip they have to beg.
