Re: GOA Alert: Stop Gun Control in the PA House
The response I got:
Thank you for contacting my office to relay your concerns regarding a number of firearm-related bills that have been introduced
in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. As an elected official, I am pleased to see you participating in the democratic process and am happy to respond.
As a firearm owner and former police officer, I am very familiar with the controversy surrounding these bills and find it incredibly
important to carefully look at them through those lenses. While I cannot in good conscience support legislation based on radical anti-gun views, which are unproductive and will not pass in either the House or Senate, I do wish to promote laws that increase
safety and protect the rights of lawful and responsible firearm owners. I would like to pass commonsense restrictions that reward lawful firearm owners and prevent those who seek to do harm from committing atrocities. Please know that, should these or any
other firearm-related bills come before the full House of Representatives for a vote, I will share your thoughts with my colleagues as we discuss them.
Once more, thank you for reaching out to me to discuss your concerns. I always enjoy hearing from my constituents and applaud
you for being proactive in contacting me. If I can be of any help on this, or any other state-related issue in the future, please do not hesitate to reach out to my office.
Sincerely,
Brian Munroe
State Representative

It shows how popular a law can be.... and if she can be tossed out of office.

Isn't the role of a law to prevent crime. The role of law is to deter crime by punishing behavior.
He sounds a little pink to me....

Hate to say i gave up on submitting these form letters from GOA after the second “go pound sand up your ass” canned replies from casey jr and the other clown.
I just tell them that "A reply is not necessary".
Casey Jr is infamous for the "sportsman's Crap...... which he'll prattle on about until 'sniper weapons' become the Oligarch's next pet peeve.

It's written better than what Senator Casey writes, but it sounds like he's voting yes for those 'commonsense restrictions."

Deterrence of crime is an ancillary affect of a law. The role of a law is to define what behavior or actions are not acceptable by the will of the community, and to establish punishments for those who commit the unlawful acts defined.
