Don't live up there but go up a few times a year to a friends property to shoot. I guess it's considered Jackson Twp. but Susquehanna and New Milford are about the same distance away.
Is there anywhere to buy ammo around there?

I live in Forest City. There are gun shops, but no ammo at the present time. I keep checking. Also Walmart, Gander Mountain, etc. Only 12 and 20 G.
I am looking for 22L's if any body knows of them.
Thanks
The {OUTDOORSMAN} has them from time to time here in Hallstead. Last time I paid around $30.00 for 500.
Youd have to call first as he is in and out. Good luck.
I could swear that I replied to this thread a ways back but....
I'm from Bethel Hill, which is not on any maps but is south of Susquehanna Depot on RT 171 about 3.5 miles.
Shoot mostly in my backyard, but then up here everybody shoots in their back yard!
Shoot just about everything with primers/and or brass cases. Even reload, mostly Shotgun and 45ACP.
They just put in a pipeline a couple of hills behind me, so things are changing rapidly here. Waiting for the well diggers to start tearing the place up, oh well.
Welcome, Harmony
No, I from Clifford township just joined the site.
I have an uncle in Harford and had a nice state trooper do my Arizona permit fingerprints there too, but I'm a few counties south! :)
My carry permit is really expired. I went through a lot of operations and therapy, etc. My question is has the procedure changed within the last 3 years for permit?
Is the fee and procedure the same for a concealed or a target permit?
To carry a hand gun in a vehicle you have to have a concealed ?
I ask because my grandson is coming up this summer and I want to take him shooting. I have friends with a lot of land I can shoot on.I want to take him to a range so he can see what it is like.
Your LTCF shall now included a photograph, the Sheriffs office will take the photo when you apply. The Sheriff's office will accept your application and payment as before and you'll be mailed your license sometime within the 45 day period. Be sure you have Nam address and phone number of your references when you go to make application. License to Carry Firearms is required to carry firearms in vehicles (not just cars). There is no "target shooting permit". Unless you are speaking of the "permit" needed to use Pa. Game Commission Ranges.
I suggest you call the Sheriff's Office to get the straight info up front.
From Forest city. I have a couple pistols if anybody local is interested.
Here's the link to my add. Thanks
