Sit rep?
A new world, hoping we can get back to normal.
I meant to be there about 40 mins to doors open, and got there about 30 mins prior. Lines were huge.
Disappointed in the few vendors.
I really pity the folks who arrived say, 9:30 or so as their wait to get into the building was upwards of two hours.
Prof
Arrived about 12:15. Purchased my ticket at the back entrance and went right in with no problem. They are utilizing both halls. Had to wait about 35 minutes to get in the front hall. Majority of people were wearing masks. Nothing was said to those who didn’t wear a mask.
Ahem.
I'm glad they made an attempt. But the show was a huge disappointment. Not may venders selling firearms I feel ripped off for the price of admission.
I decided not to attend. tom.
As bad as I wanted to go to a show I didn't attend. The parking situation is abysmal. $11 admission, and like $5 hot dogs is too much IMO. I'll pass if/until Washington County (or whatever its new name will be, in light of current events;)) has its next show. Not as much jerky and pickles for sale but I have always found better deals there.
Was there any ammo cans or just a bunch a stinky, walking diabetes?
I am glad to see the shows starting up , but like Acorn says 11 bucks to attend what sounds like was a flea market . The promoters need to wake up !
This was hands down the worst, most disappointing experience i've ever had at a gun show. That includes the time i drove from Monroeville to Erie, in the snow, and paid $9 to browse hunting rifles (i'm a tactical guy) on ELEVEN TABLES.
I got there about 8:40am on Saturday, and got in line for the rear of the show. I had to stand behind some clown with a Trump Hat and Trump Racing shirt, talking about how nobody needs bumpstocks anyways, and every other stereotype you can imagine. They started admission at 9am, and i stood in line until about 9:40. I was probably only about 50 people back. The rear of the show took me about ten minutes to walk, and that's because i spent some extra time at the pickle vendor. I tried to find the route to the other half of the show, and was told that I had to walk around the building, present them a second ticket, as the inner door between the halfs was closed. Oh well...
So i walked up to the front of the hall, and saw there were two lines. After asking the staff, i was directed to her into the line that was in the street of the parking lot, as i had already paid and had my "other half of the show" ticket. I was probably about 80 people back from the door. I stood in line for about 45 mins ago, and had counted roughly TEN people were allowed into the main show, since they were limiting the number of people in the building. I overheard that it was 250 people, in accordance with Wolf's orders. There's no way it was 75% capacity.
So after some brief calculation that it would be roughly three hours before i made it into the main show, i just walked over and asked to exchange my Saturday ticket for a Sunday ticket, as i was having lunch with a friend from out of town and didn't have hours to burn. The guy may have misheard me, but he just handed me cash back and took my ticket.
I felt like that was a win. Worst gun show i've ever attended.
