Let me get this straight. The Inquirer endorses a man who has broken state law on more than one occasion concerning the regulation of firearms. I'm speaking of Darrell Clarke. Mr. Clarke sponsored a city ordinance which was passed and signed into law by Mayor Nutter. The City of Philadelphia is prohibited from regulating anything that has to do with firearms according to Title 18 Section 6120 of Pennsylvania Law which states:
(a) General rule.--No county, municipality or township may
in any manner regulate the lawful ownership, possession,
transfer or transportation of firearms, ammunition or ammunition
components when carried or transported for purposes not
prohibited by the laws of this Commonwealth.
Mr. Clarke, Mayor Nutter and city council know they are prohibited from regulating firearms in any way, shape, manner or form. Yet they passed and signed into law an illegal ordinance in direct violation of state law. The Inquirer endorses a man who clearly violated state law. What are people called who violate state law, criminals. The Inquirer endorses a criminal for reelection in city council. You should be proud of yourselves.

File a private criminal complaint for official oppression and violating the UFA.
That should turn some heads.

Now that would be fun to watch!
Re: My Post on Phillynews.com
Problem is that Private Criminal Complaints must be approved by the DA's office and they would never approve it.

Technically speaking there is one thing they are allowed to regulate regarding firearms, the discharge of them within their jurisdiction. So to say "anything" is not correct. When dealing with the media or government you want to be sure you are 100% correct in your wording or you'll be dismissed as just another gun nut.
