I'm an (profanity removed)...well almost
Please Note: The poster was issued a warning for this post.
I made the mistake of doing a little Christmas shopping today. I was OCing. My daughter and I went to the Kmart on S 4th street in Allentown around 1000 this morning. I went to get my son his mountain bike. I don't normally go to this Kmart very often but it was the only place I could find a 20" mountain bike that wasn't $400.00. I had to fight my way through crowds of people and got rammed by multiple shopping carts. I was afraid to let my 3 yr old daughter walk through the store. While I was waiting in line to pay (which seemed like forever) I hear:
Woman: You should be more responsible
Me: (here we go) I am being responsible, I am taking responsiblity for the safety of my family and myself. (I handed her a flyer) I am not breaking the law. I choose to carry like this because I find it more comfortable.
Woman: (has a very confused look on her face) I wasn't talking about your 1911, I was talking about your Red Bull. Do you know how many people have died from those energy drinks?
Me: (very confused and shocked) You know what kind of pistol I am carrying?
Woman: Yes, my husband and I both have Kimbers. If you want to OC, that's your business. I am an ER nurse and have seen so many people have "cardiac events" because of those energy drinks. Please, for your daughters sake, stop drinking them.
Me: Wow, this is not how I was expecting this conversation to play out. I thought you were going to tell me how OC was wrong and that I am scaring everyone in the store.
Woman: Nah, I don't care how you carry. I just wanted to warn you about those drinks.
Me: Sorry I jumped down your throat, I haven't been in a store on Black friday since I worked at Laneco 20+ years ago. This place is crazy, and the crowds are getting on my nerves.
Woman: I know what you mean. I don't like it much either.
We talked for a few minutes about the holidays and family etc.. We had plenty of time for small talk since the cashier was being "trained" and everyone in front of me agreed to apply for a Sears card while at the register.
It turns out this woman is aware of PAFOA and she has lurked here a few times. She has never posted though. Maybe she will read this thread and introduce herself. When you are called a racist, it just means you won an argument with an Obama supporter.

You're still an a hole .
I guess that was a change of pace. I would have assumed "gun" too. See, you shouldn't carry that Red bull out in the open like that - your going to ruin it for all the Red Bull lovers out there.

I bet you'll CC your Red Bull from now on.

Now see, there's something else we could have talked about on the phone tonight.
Not sure about the status though, I've met ReconLdr, and his very nice son BUT he just didn't come off to me as an A.S.S.H.O.L.E
Tell you what Jim, we can make him a pledge ... he can do our bidding for a year and then we will see if he deserves a rocker ... sound fair?

That's priceless!! I also hope that woman comes out of lurk-dom. Us women are extremely outnumbered here.
