    Default Preferred thread locker?

    Curious what ya'll prefer to use on your scope bases and rings?

    I used 242 last fall and noticed some light surface rust outside of the thread engagement area on my ring screws..

    Figure maybe there's something else that would work just as good..

    For scopes, rings or any other small bolt or screw that may strip easily and not easily be replaced I recommend locktite Purple. Or known as 222. Right tool or in this case liquid for the right job.
