I don't know if it's good or bad that no one replied so far.

Re: PALMERTON ROD & GUN CLUB
I have been a member for 7 or so years. It is a nice range and very inexpensive to join.
I am retired so I only go during the week when its empty. They have a lot of members and their share of assholes like any other club.

Re: PALMERTON ROD & GUN CLUB
Thanks for the reply. 1 question, can I shoot a mag with more than one round and more then once a min if it's kept in check. It's hard to practice for my CMP/NRA service rifle matches where we load 2 and 8 in 2 mags and go 60/70-sec rapid fire. To appease the SLG fudds I go 2/3.

Re: PALMERTON ROD & GUN CLUB
I do not think they have a problem with that, full auto may upset them, They have no one round a minute rule or any of that other crap.

Re: PALMERTON ROD & GUN CLUB
Are they currently accepting new members? This is the first range I ever shot at and my father has been a member for 15 years but last time he checked they said memberships were closed, even for family members. They no longer allow guests due to insurance reasons.

Re: PALMERTON ROD & GUN CLUB
I went to the December 2013 meeting on the third Monday, didn't have any issues becoming a new member. Still haven't had a chance to try the range yet though, oh well.

Re: PALMERTON ROD & GUN CLUB
I was a member there for years,it is the nicest/cleanest range that I have ever been to.I forgot to renew last year & I am regretting it.It's a LONG drive from Philly but I always enjoyed the day up @ Palmerton.I use to go Mid-week & usually had the range to myself,There use to be 2 nice gun shops close by in Walnutport,Keifers but they might not be in business anymore & AF Boyer's [it's a hardware store with a gun section on the 2nd floor]
I'm gonna have to try & rejoin,it's a GREAT range.
