Default Sig Sauer in a bowl

ecided to self install a short reset trigger kit. With the generous help of PAFOA member Photoshooters armorers DVD it was a sucess. This is the first time I darred take a gun down this far. It was a blast but not something I plan to do just for the hell of it.

    Cool.

I love making any changes, cosmetic or functional, myself. Unless I feel i can't do it, then i'd pay to have it done. But I havent run into that problem yet.

I'd love to even find an SRT kit for my 229, they aren't available for purchase from Sig and they want you to send your pistol in for installation.

"X is what percentage of Y?" Divide the first number by the second, multiply the answer by 100. Add a percent sign. Think.

Ha! I did the same thing; laptop open behind my workspace. It wasn't nearly as difficult as I thought it would be. Of course without the DVD I would have been lost.

I got my first one from a Sig armorer but now Midway sells them. In fact their price is much better than what I paid in the past. Depending on the vintage of your 229 you may need to change a few other parts but they were really inexpensive. I can look up all of the details if you like.

edit: I remember now. If your 229 is an older one you will need to change your decocker to the new style and possibly your trigger spring.
    Midway $49.99 in stock

TopGun Supply also sells SRT kits

I would appreciate it if you would. I just did a quick search at Midway and all I could find was the short trigger, not the short reset trigger kit.

    Thanks!
