This show was very good! I like the fact that they gave more room in the aisles and I think the CRAZY pricing may have calmed down a bit. For some reason I have had this thing for early .22 pump guns. I wanted a Winchester model 1890 or 1906 but only found a few examples and all were in questionable condition....so I found a Remington Model 12A. Produced in approx 1927 and has a period correct Weaver mount and scope on it. Great find, great condition and great price. Very pleased with it! Will post some pictures as soon as I can.
I also picked up some ammo cases and targets from Top Hat. Who else ventured out and found some bargains!

I went and agree it was a good show. Found some good stuff. Aisles are bigger because they did not have as many vendors. The hall was only about 85% full, with wide aisles. I figure net-net there were @20-25% fewer tables.

Found nothing I was looking for. No ammo cans at reasonable prices and I was looking for an M2 tripod and pintle assembly but no luck there. I was going to get some 7.62 ammo one fellow had along with some m1919a4 belts which were both at a decent price, but he didnt take cards, so I walked away from there.
I was laughing at the tables of WASR's marked at $600 and the Saiga's for $900. Gunshows just arent what they used to be. I like going to them just to look, but I honestly do 95% of my firearm and accesory purchasing online these days. |

I think most of my buying will be done online now. I see everything in the gun shops selling new online for up to 200+ less.

This was my first show, I met up with 45badger. I have to say it wasn't really what I expected. I'm not sure what I expected though.
to me prices didn't seem that great, I'm broke so that plays into it though. I agree that most of the pricing was the same as you get online or higher. I suppose I expected to see really great prices. I was shocked to not find a single trade in 870, in fact there was only a few new ones there. Lots and lots of AR's.. |

Way over priced stuff, unless your a vendor, during set-up.. They get all the good deals.
