But Rep. David Lujan, a Phoenix Democrat and president of the Phoenix
Union High School District board, said he is "uncomfortable with having
weapons on school campuses." In the context of a school shooting, for
example, he said the prospect of additional weapons in the hands of faculty
or even students could "exacerbate the situation" when police arrive on
scene and are trying to quickly identify the assailant.

I wish local ranges and gun shops would take this stance. I think if you buy a gun from the store they should at least give you some basic training for free. Or just use the training to help their sales. It is really a win-win situation for them.

IMHO, the guy's a fraud and a scumbag. He's a master of wordsmithing to get people riled up enough to spend thousands on his classes, and claims you get a free gun if you pass. A $500 gun after a $3000 class is not "free" in my book. He's been sued a few times for failure to deliver promised services, but always settles out of court.

He exploits every tragedy, from 9/11 to the Salt Lake City mall shooting to promote his training camps, and the incident in a recent thread linked below was the straw that broke the camel's back for me.

If you don't want to read all the replies, the first link is the article posted in the thread that exposes just how low this guy will go to promote himself as the saviour of the second amendment. Telling the world that if either member of this young married couple purchased his book, a beautiful young newly wed would still be alive and the lives of both families wouldn't be torn upside down. True? Possibly. A despicable act of self promotion using a tragedy that many people will suffer from for the rest of their lives. Most definitely.
