Default Post Layout suggestion.

Just wondering if there is anything in the works for post layout. Currently user information is on the top, and the post is below. It's kind of annoying. I was thinking maybe having it so the user info is to the left with a larger avatar, and the post to the right of that information. A lot of other forums do it this way, just wondering why PAFOA is different. Maybe at a minimum give us an option to choose post layout and/or skins too.

Just my 2 cents.

it's just way the postbit is layed out.....I'm pretty sure you're referring to phpbb, smf or ipb when you're referring to other forums with the user information at the left.

I know vbulletin and the newer release of mybb both have the postbit at the top of a users post.

there's probably a theme out there to do this in vbulletin, but then you have to modify code to make sure EVERYTHING works like it did with the default theme...

pain in the ass and I'm sure Danp doesn't have time to do this.

You get used to it... I know what ya mean though. Most of the other forums I frequent are setup with the user info on the left of the post.

I have to say I'm quite fond of the setup here. I like it more than the setup other forums use that the OP mentioned.

Just my $.02
