Thank You!
I just wanted to take this time to thank DanP, all the moderators, and all the rest of the guys that have helped make this forum possible, as well as any and all who have helped contribute to this forum.
This forum has been absolutely invaluable regarding information on OC, CC, legal issues, gun research, gun porn, gaining insight from police officers/lawyers/political officials, etc. I literally, and i DO mean literally, learn something new, each and every day that i log onto PAFOA. Everything from learning what states you cant carry in with a PA LTCF, to analyzing OC/CC encounters and learning from others' stories, to learning whats legal and whats not, all the way down to looking (i should say drooling) at gun porn and deciding what my next firearm will be. All this while the forum maintains a very mature, logical, and extremely friendly and helpful attitude amongst its members. Again, i just wanted to take this time to thank all the people that make this forum possible, as well as all the people that contribute to it as well. Without this forum, i'd be ALOT more ignorant regarding firearms than i already am! THANK YOU!

This website is successful not because of me, but because of all the people who sign up and contribute their knowledge. While I am very happy to have been in the right place at the right time in setting up this website, I make no claims to be responsible for everything that makes it great, that honor is reserved for the gun owners of Pennsylvania. This is the way that it was designed. Single points of failure are a bad thing. The past few months I've been very busy with my day job and yet PAFOA keeps on running just like the energizer bunny!

I agree with the First post... When I joined the Forum a year ago I was a noob...
I just turned 21 and bought my first pistol... I had no idea what the laws were and where I could go... I learned something every time I came on... Heck now I contact my State officials on subject matter that can affect me as a gun owner. I am now more aware of the political tug-o-war. I always source what I have learned on here when in a gun conversation with someone. It took me sometime to find my nitch on PAFOA... But I guess I try to bring humor to most posts, its just my personality to make people smile... I would also like to thank everyone for molding me into a knowledgeable, respectful, and law abiding gun owner. I always grew up around guns but I never had such an appreciation as I do now... This site even makes my girlfriend cringe... She knows when I am on here, I will be a zombie for at least an hour... So you are my “Alone Time PAFOA”

I applaud you on this site. You have done a fine job picking mods and letting this site grow and develop to compliment its users. This site could have went so many different ways and you have let it run its own coarse without pushing your agenda and making it what you want. My hats off to you.
