Login redirecting message?
I believe I have always seen this when logging in:
Redirecting... Thank you for logging in "Click here if your browser does not automatically redirect you." I imagine it's normal, but why does it "redirect"? Because of the new servers that came online a while back? Once in a great while it will hang up for a short while doing that, but mostly connects in a few seconds.

What it sounds like is you have a direct link to the forum but you are not signed in so it has to take you to the sign in box then back to where the link was directed in the first place.
Check the "remember me" box on the sign in page and you'll remain signed in and by-pass that page altogether. If you're in a habit of clearing your cookies though, you'll lose the remember me feature and have to sign in again. Quote:
