Understood

And you should understand that people randomly getting positive rep in the hello thread is a great idea. It definitely adds a positive nature to the forum. In a way it is quite ingenious. Ingenious ideas are often simple.

Thanks!

When I said hello in the hello thread I got some rep points... and I thought that was extremely cool. Then I noticed there was a trend of people getting rep points when posting in that thread. Again I think that is extremely cool.

Does anyone have vague notion how this idea started? Link?

he's a good question for you...when are you moving out of that liberal state and coming to the free world? =P

Just checked my watch - 13 months, 5 days, 4 hours.

Not sure if PA will be where I end up, but the future is a bit hard to predict.

Part of the magic is that different people are giving the rep because that implies a positive helpful environment on the forum.

I've taken a peek at the site stats and how long it has been open, incredibly impressive growth of this site. High google rankings alone would not do that. I'm beginning to see what is causing that growth.

there are plenty of good states out there for people who value their 2A rights.

just go anywhere besides NY, NJ & where you are now, California.
