Just for giggles I tried this as well and ran in to the same issue ... everything past 15 or 16 timed out .. but as I've not had any problems with the site I'm not worried.

Well that trace looks ok speed-wise but you are going across COGENT's network so it wouldn't surprise me if you are seeing some slow load times now and then. I have to go across COGENT to access this site from work and it is slow as molasses at times. Unfortunately we have no control over someone else's network.

The trace timing out after around 15 hops is normal as we filter ICMP traffict (trace-type traffic) close to the actual webserver.
