Hate to be a whiner, but I can't search topics only, and results seem to be in random time order.

For example. I want to look for Glock 19 classified ads that have been posted in the last 3 months. While I could have easily run a search to get those exact results with the old search function, when I do it now, I get pretty much every thread with "Glock 19" in it, and most of the classified ads are more than a year old.

Sorry, I guess the PAFOA site probably makes money with the Google search thingy, but I liked the old search function a lot better.

You guessed wrong. That's a free tool from google which generates 0 revenue. The old search function was badly coded and was locking up the database server.
The original search function might return at a later date after the code is cleaned up so it cannot dump ridiculously long queries into mysqld.
