Thumbs up P-3AT, 9 round mag now available!

I just went on the Kel-tec website and they are now offering a 9 round magazine for the P-3AT! They are limited to two per customer and they are $26.50 each.

Do they extend past the bottom of the grip further than the original mags? I'd look myself but my computer is being a whorebag so I'm using my phone.

They've been making mags like that for the P32 for a long time. I had a 10 rounder for mine and it worked like a charm, and made the pistol much easier to hold while still keeping the overall package very small. It was a Mec Gar just like the factory mags. I liked it a lot. I kinda miss that gun.

Here's a pic of my P32 with the 10 round mag.

Yeah, it goes way down. Looks like you can get your whole hand on it for a change. It also makes the grip longer than the barrel so I don't think that it will work with my pocket holster anymore. Oh, well... less time reloading the mags at the range.

With a grip that big you lose the advantage of CC'ing such a small gun. You might as well CC a G26 or a XD40 sub compact. Then you get 10+1 rounds with a much more effective round.

Absolutely, but extremely cost effective. Especially if you carry it iwb instead of in a pocket. At the time it was a great option for me.

There is a 15-rd mag available for the LCP! Not CC friendly but pretty neat.

One thing you have to remember is its not like the longer Mag changes the width of the firearm... one of the main reason I like the P3AT is how narrow it is ..
Ill have to give it a try but it probably wont be a carry mag, But maybe

The bigger mags could carried as back up with a regular one in the pistol.

My new mags came this afternoon but I couldn't get to the range today. Maybe tomorrow after work or Saturday.
