Default I Think I Found My Carry Gun

Looks like it'll be a Walther PPS 9mm. Pocket carry is a S&W 442, but a lightbulb went off today for the PPS IWB.
Anyone have any experience with a 9mm PPS? I'll probably get it this week.
    Thanks.

I have one. No problems for me in several hundered rounds, likely around the 600 mark. It did have several issues failing to feed when both my wife and my friends wife shot it. small gun, heavy spring, little hands, its a recipe for a gun that is sensitive to "limp wristing".

It handles quite well for its size, and the trigger is very shootable.

I have a www.atomicdogholsters.com appendix rig and a crossbreed mini-tuck. I think Im going to have atomic make me up a OWB for it too.

I've been carrying my PPS 9mm since last summer in a Galco leather OWB holster. Most of my range shooting is with 22's but I try to get a few mags worth downrange when I get a chance. I've put a few hundred rounds through mine with no problems other than a few issues caused by my girlfriend limp wristing it. (similar to the problems Shawn.L commented on).

I think you'll be more than happy with the PPS. I've even considered picking up another one. My only concern has been with finding magazines for it, especially the 7 round mag. There is a deal right now though for a free mag when you buy the PPS, so at least you'll start out with 2 if you buy it new.

I bought one several months ago, while I liked the gun to shoot and carry (I was planning on using it for a summer-time gun) I did not like the mag release system at all.

I ended up trading it on a Springfield EMP a couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately I just sold my extra mags and holsters last week.

Overall a good gun, but just not for me.
Tomorrow's battle is won during today's practice.

Cool Re: I Think I Found My Carry Gun

I have a 40S&W and carry it everyday. It's very concealable. You don't even notice it, and it's size makes it perfect for everyday carry. As far as shooting it, I really like it, for a subcompact the recoil is very managable and I have not had any failures or jams to this point. I've put approx. 600 rounds thru it. The downside to this gun aas previously discussed is the magazine costs 50+ dollars for a single stack 7 round mag is pretty steep. But that's the price for the element of surprise I suppose

I've had mine for almost 2 years now and I love it. Great gun, very accurate and very easy to carry. I slip it into my Fobus paddle holster and away I go.

Just got it yesterday so I still have to clean it and hit the range. Ordered an Andrews McDaniel II IWB Holster ( www.andrewsleather.com ), an extra mag (plus the promotional free mag) a bunch of range ammo and a few boxes of 124 gr. Gold Dots (non +P). Pretty sure I'm going to like this one a lot.
