Default Member Ranking for Members who have passed away.

1861 and Meleanie Hain come to mind, and are the only ones I know of.
I was browsing a necro thread that someone recently posted on and saw 1861, and thought I would make a suggestion.

Why not give them a special ranking of some kind? Like, member, super member, grand member, etc. I don't know what the rank would be called, but it would only apply to members who have passed away.

    Just a thought I had..

Not a bad idea there. Memorial Memeber, Honered Memeber, and lots of other ideas I'm sure for a rank or whatever that is we call ourselves under our name.

I like In Memorium as well.

    Or perhaps "dearly departed member".

    R.I.P. is simple enough.

"In Memorium" or perhaps "Memorial Member," I mean if we are going to memorialize someone it should be rather obvious.

I also feel that In Memoriam or Memorial Member would be more appropriate.

    "Member In Memoriam"

I also really like this idea...

    Nice idea.
It would mean more if we were actually "members" instead of "forum users". Hard to memorialize people that don't exist ("member").

I agree that RIP is good, as is "In Memorium "

    Meleanie's already reads "R.I.P".
