Trash text-enhance

I've noticed posts like this one recently. Where a word is linked to an advertisement and looks like a standard url link that a poster would use.

I can't imagine this brings much money to the forum, but perhaps I'm wrong on that. What I do know though is that it lessens the browsing experience. I for one expect links here on PAFOA to be inserted by posters to take readers to content associated with the post.

For example, in my link above the post was worded as such that I thought 600hpz31 was linking to an online example of the LTCF application, but it took my to educationassistance.org instead.

This website can't even update the reference library in a reasonable manner, yet we get annoying features like this? Please, toss this one into the trash bin.

Text-enhance highlighted the word "debt" prior to 'clock', making me expect a link to the debt clock website.

This infuriatingly sent me to an advertiser's site instead.

I will simply quit posting if this continues, that's how ticked off I am right now.

ETA: Oh look, neither link is showing anymore. Well isn't this perfect for being unable to demonstrate to others.

I don't get links like that in the posts you refer too. Must be something on your end. Try to settle down, though, you're too young for a heart attack, man.

This is what I get for having a guest account, time to add some restrictions to it.

Found the problem, a program titled Codec-C, a quick search reveals it is definitely malware.

So let this serve as a heads up to anyone else, now I have to figure out exactly why this is on my machine to begin with.
