i always get confused as to whether or not a shotgun becomes a SBS at under 16inches, or under 18inches..... But either way just don't cut off the barrel with a hacksaw when you get home and your fine.. pistol grips are legal also

i think federal law says 18 inches for a shotgun and pa's law says 16 inches and it's a SBR............

I know rifles are 16inch in PA, but for some reason I recall hearing it was 18 for shotgun which sort of made sense to me as my Mossberg's are both 18in, and I believe the winchester defenders and such are also 18in...

18" barrel and/or less than 26" in overall length for shotguns. 16" barrel and/or less than 26" in overall length for rifles.

You could have a 20" barreled single shot shotgun, but an overall length less than 26" and you'd have a SBS also. which means an NFA tax stamp would be in order to keep from becoming Bubba's new play toy.
