Sheep work good for that, they wean right about the same time the grass starts growing and are butcher ready when the season ends.

Thought about goats .....too many rules/laws/problems ......... all this rain been pushing more g'hogs onto my place.
Never ends with them , if they stopped digging I'd welcome them
