Thumbs down Reading Mayor comments on Wilson Borough

    "Tom McMahon "
Right On, Wilson Borough! Thanks for standing up to the NRA and to those forces who think they can intimidate our citizens. The purpose of this law is not to penalize responsible gun owners who are smart enough to understand that a handgun in the hands of a criminal or mentally unstable person is just begging for disaster.
It is after the low lifes who profit by trading or selling firearms to people who have no business owning weapons.
Wilson Borough officials are standing up for their citizens, and against the demagogues
Yes.... the state should act to protect all it's citizens but our elected officials in Harrisburg are cowed by threats from the NRA. So in lieu of that, Boroughs like Wilson and cities like Reading are standing together all over this state in a show of solidarity for gun safety, not gun control. Perhaps someday the people in Harrisburg will listen to us.

I hope you realize that the poster was not Tom McMahon. I doubt he knows how to use a computer.

You can put any name you want as a display name, it is not verified or regulated.
