How do you like the NY-1 trigger? How is it in comparison to the standard trigger? Is it the same feel but just harder to pull?

I would skip the new barrel and buy some quality leather and a case or three of ammunition. Check out www.simplyrugged.com for their Cuda model holster, it is as good as it gets for leather.

The match barrel is not going to do much for you and you will hardly notice the difference. A few thousand rounds to practice with will show you a difference and will be more beneficial. However, if you want to spend your money on accessories, so be it.

well the ny-1 is way better shooting with the 3.5 lone wolf connector, i love it. it gives the trigger a nice resistance the whole way with the pull, and the jerkiness is gone. and glock Co. gives the ok to carry if you pair the 3.5 with the ny-1 or 2 trigger spring assembly. they do not aprove of just the 3.5 connector for carry.

What advantage(s) do you get from the grip plug? Is it a balance thing, or...?

I'm curious, because I thought of trying one out for my glock.

    Thanks

Keeps all the dirt/lint from getting in there up to the trigger assembly.

no the grip plug keeps the dirt and grim out of the trigger housing. if you look straight up that's where your trigger spring is and connector. it just keeps the crap out

Are those stock sights? If so, THAT is what you need to upgrade.
