I know there's "not much" $$ laying around, but it'd help knowing a ball park budget.... $100...$350...?
Watch Craigslist....Tractor Supply carries a 10 gun safe for $350 on their website....http://www.tractorsupply.com/tools/s...k-safe-4061927

Dick's Sporting Goods has Stack-on gun cabinets for under two benjamins. You can bolt those to the wall, the floor, or anything else hard to move (though you'd best ask the landlord first, and you might have to leave it with the apartment).

Re: Safe CHEAP Gun Storage?
First,
Why would you tell us all of the guns you own?
Second, get a gun cabinet for about 150 or you can pick up a gun safe for about 300-400.
These two options will only delay a good thief, but shoul dbe done.
A friends of mine had his guns stolen from his apt. because the thieves broke into the managers office and took a master key.
At the time, he did not have a safe or cabinet. hind site 20/20.
Also look into insurance depending on the worth of your firearms.
Check NRA website for firearm insurance. They will insure the gun and anything attached to the gun, rings, scope, sling etc.

For 300, you can get a good stack on 10 gun cabinet with the storage section on the left side for ammo, accessories, magazines, etc. I got mine for $290 at Cabellas. If you have one shipped to your place, you're gonna have to pay for the shipping which can be upwards of $30 easy. See about picking one up at Cabellas if you can swing it. I was able to fit the cabinet in the box of my Cherokee with room to spare when I took out the seat.

Re: Safe CHEAP Gun Storage?
master lock makes a decent cable lock thats almost cut proof.
a decent 8 bar safe at an office supply store.
the idea is to lock all the long guns togeather to make them akward to steal and carry away.
the 8 bar safe should be abt 1ft sq inside, this will hold all the handguns.

Re: Safe CHEAP Gun Storage?
Locks keep honest people out. A high dollar gun safe is the best bet but if you just want to get them out of sight and under some sort of lock you might be able to find a metal wardrobe closet with locking doors at a yard sale or thrift store for cheap. Those locks can be picked very quickly by anyone who knows what they're doing but it will keep the guns out of sight and if you put it in or near a closet it won't be as conspicuous as a cheap gun vault with locks that aren't quite as easy to pick.
It's not a good long term option but it's better than nothing until you can afford something better. It's the "Out of sight out of mind" theory. If someone knows you have the guns and they want them they're going to get them. If it's a random burglary and the perps don't know what they might find there's a good chance they won't bother with extra clothes closet storage.
Another plus is that if you have visitors such as nieces, nephews, or friends who don't know any better, it's better to have some deterrent in place than to have them out in the open.
Just a suggestion for a band-aid solution that you might get by with for $5.00 - $20.00 until you can afford to do it right.
I don't have a short temper, I just have a quick reaction to bullshit.
