Default Want to know what someone paid for their house?

The first vehicles normally on the scene of a crime are ambulances and police cruisers. If you are armed you have a chance to decide who gets transported in which vehicle, if you are not armed then that decision is made for you.

Be prepared, because someone else already is and no one knows their intent except them.

Wish we had the internet in the 70s when I would go to the court house and spend hours getting the same info for an insurance company.

Whats really scary is someone can look that up by lot, address... etc.

then go on Facebook or Myspace and see if you are home or on vacation and then break in

As someone who avoids "social networking" sites like the plague, I'm curious as to how someone would know that you are not at home.

Are people stupid enough to post that info?

Nevermind. I think I just answered my own question.

    On topic:
I didn't click the link, but we have a county assessment website that's fun to look at. A lot of the data is WRONG, but it's interesting anyway.
I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

    Northampton County: http://www.ncpub.org/

When we lived in PRNJ and were shopping for a house, I discovered that there's a site where you can look up tax records for every county in PRNJ: Link to PRNJ tax records site

These sites also show the price paid and other interesting information.

I have my privacy/security settings set so that only friends can view my information/activity. Nobody can see unless I officially add you as a friend. Then you can pick and choose who is able to access certain information, and who can't.
