It's funny to read everyone write about Mike's and Vincent's. It's sad to see Vinny's face when the place is mentioned though. I think he wishes he would have stayed in the Pizza business.

Best pizza I have found so far around here is Teresa's in Mt. Bethel, Tony's is a close second, you know, understanding that all the pizza here is shit compared to real pizza...

If only people knew the truth- The township had nothing to do with Mike opening a new company-Mike's Pizzeria and Italian Restaurant LLC- the original Mike's Pizza still exists-check out the plcb site and look up Mike's Pizzeria Restaurant Inc. it is a separate company I'm sure his partner in the original Mike's would know what happened[/I]

plcb site gave me a headache sifting through it. Since it's all public info how about posting the 2 different apps or owners or how about a direct link. If something is fishy the township should have a heads-up.

When I go to Monroe and do alphabetic of all licenses all that comes up is Mike's Pizzeria Restaurant Inc. still listed on 209 and the status is "safe keeping" current not operating. Is there any other I'm not seeing?

Yeah, Mike worked at the original Vincents with Peter, back around 1994-96 and then left and went down to B-ville to open his own place.

Think about what you are saying..... why is Mike looking for a license? He already had one from the old place!?! Things are not always what they appear to be. Think of all the comments-the food is not the same and neither is the quality. You sound like an intelligent person, it really is not that hard to figure out.

I've actually stopped by there twice since as there is nowhere else to eat up there other then the diner. Their pizza rolls aren't to bad but still off. first one I had was really good, second time it tasted like they over cooked it first, then when they warmed it up the middle was still a bit cool and the whole thing was chewy.

I've seen Mike there as well (from the original place) but it just isn't the same and it seems like the quality goes to shit when he isn't there

It'll only be a diner for a little while as they got final approval to demolish it and a CVS built there.

Bummer, a couple months ago I had to meet somebody there. Got shooting the breeze with the owners wife while waiting and having a coffee. She gave me a couple fancy deserts to take home that were awesome.
What's with Greeks and diners? She knew every Greek family that owned a diner in the Lehigh Valley. Nice lady.
