Out of curiosity, what is a "combat style pistol shoot." I have been on the walks up there before, but I am unaware of what this is. It sounds like fun, But I don't know if my carry piece would be up to par for this depending on what it is. Wish that 1911 was already on my belt

So far, it's just timed shooting of knockdown steel targets....not very far, but challenging because of the added time factor

anything .380 or bigger should be fine.

    It's all fun friendly competition

This actually sounds really fun. Need to talk to the Mrs. Speaking of which, the inlaws sent their membership info in about a month and a half ago. Haven't heard anything back.

I might be able to make it, I would really like to. Need to stock up on more ammo though lol.

So Waltonian park and monarch are one in the same? I might not make it till August. The 3 gun at Pardoe will eat up your July date for me I imagine.

    I can disregard this then?

We have a 35 to 300-yard 8-station rifle range, a 50-yard 8-station pistol range, a skeet club, as well as an indoor .22 range.
