S&W Model 10 serial number ?
I just got a Smith and Wesson model10
It has adjustable sights.
The serial number is 164xxx.
There is a "K" some distance to the left of the serial number.
Not a part of the number.
Any way to find out the manufacture date?

Smith and Wesson Model 10's do not have adjustable sights. Please post a picture.
I have a few questions:
What caliber is it in?
Is it a round but or square butt?
Do the sights look stock, or were they added by a good gunsmith?Join the groups protecting your rights from the fools trying to take them from you!

Post up some pics, especially of the area where the model is listed. As far as I know, Model 10's only come with fixed sights.

Well,
I found out that it's a model 15 combat masterpiece.
Year of manufacture is still not available but it's in the 60's I think.
