berreta px4 storm or sa-xd?
I currently own two handguns a glock 23 and a kimber custom 2, I want a 9mm next....i was thinking to purchase either a beretta px4 storm or an xd service size.
I won't deny the berreta design looks very nice, besides its sa-da capability makes it different from my other two guns, however the xd looks more solid and
reliable....I don't know.... you guys give me some opinions based on your own experiences...thanks.

If I buy another 9 it will be the XD. I own two XDs in 45, the compact and the tactical, and they are just fantastic firearms IMNSHO. If it really is a toss-up for you I would suggest that you fire them both and make the decision based on which one feels and functions best while firing.

Glock 19
Maybe the greatest fighting handgun ever invented.
The big plus for you is that it works and points just like your G23.

Re: berreta px4 storm or sa-xd?
First off....Both the Beretta and XD are very reliable and outstanding weapons.
For me, the deciding factor was simply design. I had the opportunity to shoot both guns and the Beretta pointed so very naturally for me, that the design and pure asthetics won me over.
Beretta is really offering great weapon at really good prices. (normally found in my area around $500) Let's face it...once you find a backstrap that fits your hand, you are unlikely to change it out. I got an LE model which came with 3 17rd magazines.

i own a px4 in .40 and it is an amazing gun. thousands upon thousands of rounds without 1 failure. also fits so nicely in my hands with the stock backstrap and i can put in the smaller one for the wife as well as it just points so naturally for me. jmho

Have you ever thought about a Smith & Wesson M&P?
When I purchased my M&P 9mm it came down b/t that and the XD9. I liked how the S&W felt in my hand & Love how it shoots.
