Sig P238
Been looking at these, anybody got one and be able to tell me about it.
Looking at the bi-tone one, to match my C3Honesta Mors Turpi Vita Potior ~ 3%

Re: Sig P238
They are really nice.
I shot about 180 round of brass through with out 1 issue.
When I switched to an aluminum casing (Blazer) I had one ejection problem.
Cleared it, then no issues at all for the rest of the box.
I have since cleaned the gun and am waiting to try the power ball 70gr through it.
The gun is fun to shoot two and one handed no issues.
Sights are great.
Well worth it.
Tanners on 263 had the two tone for like 450 or so.
The other models are more expensive.
Also for the range, I picked up a colt mustang magazine used for like 25.(range only) for me because not a manufacturer magazine. I have two sig mags for the gun.
I am very satisfied with the gun.

Re: Sig P238
I am biased, yet I see little use for a .380 auto for defense. 9mm autos are in the same weight and size arena and ammo is much cheaper and potent. That is if you are dead set on a bottom feeder. I will take my guns with the wheel turny thing every time (except for my P7).

Re: Sig P238
Let us know how you like it if you get one. I have a 232 that I like a lot although I'm going to give it to my sister. I was thinking about going the 238 route but I picked up a Seecamp that I'll stick with for now. As far as caliber, I know all the arguments but as far as I'm concerned then best caliber is the one you have with you.

Re: Sig P238
Had my 238 bi-tone, night sights and wood grips about 7 mo. now and Love this litte gun to death. Good balance sights are nice and fits my big paw pretty good. Side by side I can hold groups as tight as my P239-357sig at 30' but the P226 Elite is still the top shooter in the bag. i will say tho this little gun is a real shooter for me and so its used quite often as my c/c choice paired with some Rem. G/S ! All of the .380 hating is just personal pref.if you ask me. Mine makes me feel safer while tucked in my waistband.
