Reloading components within 4 hours of Williamsport?
Just looking to see if anyone would be kind enough to suggest a fair priced reloading components distributor worth the drive within 4 hours of williamsport, pa?
Thanks for any help in advance, I'm brand new to the area."...and he who has no sword, let him sell his garment and buy one." --Jesus

Re: Reloading components within 4 hours of Williamsport?
There isn't too many places close to Williamsport anymore that I know of that are realistic price wise . I've been buying powder , primers , and Sierra match bullets from Troxells this winter within a dollar or so per pound of Midways price and really comes out to be alot less money when I don't have to deal with shipping and the hazmat charges. I buy bulk military brass and bullets from out of state sources due to no availability here. Depends on what you are looking for , if its military type material you are looking for , give me a shout , I have numerous sources for that.

Troxell's Sporting Goods up Lycoming Creek Road has a good selection of components for fair prices. National Sporting Goods on Allegheny St. in Jersey Shore has a moderate inventory of reloading stuff. Beware of Gander Mountain, most of the time their prices are outrageous.

4 hour drive from Williamsport covers most of PA. LOTS of places to choose from.
Grices in Clearfield (stop at Bobs Army Navy too)
Shyda's in Lebanon
Richland Shooter Supply (never been there but have heard good things)

Geisers is about the cheapest in the Selinsgrove/ Sunbury area that I know of and it can't be much more than half a hour away. They usually have a decent supply in stock. (If someone knows somewhere cheaper in the general area - let us know too.)
If you have specific powders, primers, etc. in mind. Look up the numbers and make a few calls before you drive.

I recommend Geisers as well. I also recommend Middlecreek Shooting Supply for Berry's bullets and other stuff... If you stop in there tell Erik that Delerius sent ya http://www.shootingsupplyusa.com/

Re: Reloading components within 4 hours of Williamsport?
I've driven past the place way too many times and have yet to stop in. Either too early - too late- too much in a hurry, etc. Do they carry firearms?(FFL Dealer??) What type/ brands of supplies and equipment do they have and do thet have a good stock? Are the prices close to Geisers as far as powders and primers??
(Sorry - Didn't mean to try to steal the thread.)
