    Default Allegheny LTCF Turnaround Time?

I recently applied for my LTCF on 04/27/2010. What have others in the area experienced as far as turn around time?

From what others have recently posted it looks like 3-4 weeks

    ***EDIT*** The date was 4/27/2010

Guess I don't have to put my order in for a Don Hume 715 right this second.

FYI it will be holding a SW9VE.

Took me 43 days for my renewal.

Gee, why didn't they make you wait the full 45

Must be because you "know somebody" in the sheriff's department that they cut you some slack...2 days!

That really sux, especially for a renewal

Looks like I got lucky. I mailed my application in Tuesday 3/27, received my yellow card Saturday 4/1 and picked up my licence Monday 4/3.

I would be all ready to go but the Don Hume 715 I bought from Braverman Arms Company was for a Glock and not my Sigma. I though they where close enough but the trigger guards are different enough that its to snug. When it was tested in the shop the salesman said it just needed to be worked in. I called Don Hume and they did in fact confirm that there is a separate mold for the Sigma and Glock. It's to late to call Braverman so I'll call tomorrow and see what they are going to do about it.

When I got mine a year ago, I went in person to drop the paperwork off on a Friday (my 21st bday), had the card the following Tuesday, picked it up the next day.
Needless to say I was quite happy.

Last year, i downloaded the PDF, filled it out, scanned it, emailed it back and got the card a week later.

They didn't tell me to bring a copy of it, and didn't have a 2 sided printer, so when I showed up, they made me fill it out again on a blank 2 sided app. It was a nuisance to do on my lunch break, but I was still happy to get it within a week.

So if you go the emailed pdf route, make sure you print it and take it with you(must be 2 sided though, not 2 sheets).
