    Default How Can I Flag/Report A PM

I have a firearm (handgun) listed for sale in the classified section.

I was contacted via private message by a buyer. After negotiating with the buy he asked me to conduct an illegal sale. How can I report this?

I looked for a report/mod button, but couldn't find one on the private message page.

    Thank you.

I suggest you do a print screen and report this to the mods.

    Have something to show them.

This has happened to me before as well. Contact a mod via PM and they will handle it.

Thanks for all the speedy replies.

My lunch hour is almost over so I'll have to wait until tonight to send the actual message. I did send a PM about it to the only moderator I found that is actually online now.

Maybe it was a real buyer, or possibly a LEO posing as one to try to bait you, but either way, you're doing us all a great service by following through with reporting the incident and I applaud you for it.

I can't quite tell by your screen name or profile whether your coming to, or leaving PA, but with all the noise the MAIG in PA have been making about the "gun show loophole", I'm thinking the [dis]honorable mayors probably succeeded in informing more people than they warned about being able to buy a handgun in Ohio if you can't pass the PA background check.

Use the contact form, moderators don't have access to read PM's to verify such reports.

You can also PM me, but there is generally a much longer delay in responding to PMs and they get lost very easily compared to our email support system.

Since this issue was made public, I want to note for the record that what was suggested to the OP by the potential buyer was not illegal. OP, PM me if you would like an explanation of why this is the case.
