CC in PA casinos
I like going there every now and then, but "no gun" signs inside leave me somewhat discombobulated. So my question is - if a law abiding PA LTCF holder will actually break the law if he will CC there.
Thanks.

Re: CC in PA casinos
There's no law against carrying in a casino. But you would be trespassing. Since you've admitted on a public forum that you know there are "no gun" signs.
It's private property and you have to follow the rules of property owners. If there were no signs, or you didn't notice any signs, you could CC there and all they could do is ask you to leave. This is typical of any private property, stores, malls, restaurants, etc.The right to bear arms isn't for hunting bear. Subliminal Messages

Re: CC in PA casinos
Well, this was just one casino and the "gun" line was among other zillion lines on that sign behing the cashier. I did not notice it in other casinos that I go to. Maybe I did not look close enough. Should I keep browsing for the sign, or consider that "it's ok until otherwise instructed"?
Anyway, thanks to both of you.

My brother works at the Sands in Bethlehem and he confirmed the policy is 'no guns'. Also, the PSP has an office on-site with a bunch of plain clothes walking the floor.

Use the search function Luke.
Guns don't kill people, it's mostly the bullets.

Re: CC in PA casinos
Pa code requires every casino to establish a policy whereby the PSP contingent is notified immediately when anyone if found with a firearm (058 Pa Code 465a.11(b)(5)(ix)).
If discovered you will be met by the PSP and you could be prosecuted for trespass based on the posted signage.IANAL

Re: CC in PA casinos
I have never, ever heard, read or seen where someone was arrested for "trespass" based on a sign that says "no guns".......or no running, no smoking, etc.
You will be told to leave. Refuse, and then you are trespassing.

Re: CC in PA casinos
The issue whether ingress contrary to posted conditions of entry constitutes trespass has most recently been thrashed out here.
Are you saying that its never been applied in your experience or that its not enforceable (cites?)?IANAL
