ANYONE SEE THIS ?? Freedom Shoot May 8th / Rohrer & Corbett to attend ?

Just heard about this event for Sat May 8th on the Dom Diorgano show on 1210 AM.

Supposedly Sam Rohrer and Tom Corbett will be there , along with Pat Toomey and some other people running for office this cycle. The interview with the organizer said there will be an old fashioned Gatling Gun , possibly a Cannon and some other assorted heavy ordinance that people can take for a spin. One of the main draws seems to be a junk car decorated with a bunch of lib leaning ideas or slogans painted on it that people can take a shot at.

Short notice for sure , but sounds like fun and maybe another chance to nail Corbett down on the comment about disarming Citizens in the event of a perceived " need " to do so.

I have not, sounds awesome and wish I could make it. Both gubernatorial candidates will also be at the "No Pork" Pork Roast in Doylestown later that day.

Did anyone else catch the news about the Elstonville Sportsman Club pulled the plug on the event?? It certainly would be interesting to hear there side of the story as to why they decided to cancel the event. Seems rather strange that a group that would normally be expected to support such an event canceled
use of their club.

Can anyone shed some light on this??

I heard about the cancellation as well. Something doesn't smell right about it.

As for pinning down Corbett, I wont waste my time. Rohrer was asked the same questions and answered correctly. There's no gray area when it comes to disarming citizens, the only acceptable answer is no.

I'm also very interested why Elstonville Sportsman Club cancelled the event. According to the website, they pulled out at the "11th Hour".

This is important to us, epecially considering the lower then expected turnout in Harrisburg a week or so back (no, didn't get to Harrisburg either...weekdays time off is damn near impossible for me).

Well, let's see, Corbett backed out of the debate with Rohrer, now I see he won't have to face Rohrer on another date as well. Seems like a man trying to save his campaign as his opponent is gaining too much momentum.
