New Remington 1911

Anyone have information on this pistol? When is it supposed to be released? I want to get my first 1911 and thought it might be okay.

It's on the cover of one of the gun mags, the guy puts like 200 rounds through it.

If it's your first 1911, I'd suggest going with a known company who has been around the block a couple times. Remington is not the same company that produced 1911s back during the WWs.

I hate to see you get one, have troubles with it, sell it, etc, and end up hating such a beautiful design.

That's just my opinion...

I'm interested in seeing feeling and shooting this. But I am afraid it will be some sort of Amscorp stamped with Remington on it. If thats the case I'd rather buy the Amscorp/RIA for $400.
