    Default Great OC encounter today

I had a very pleasant Oc encounter today at the supermarket in Tamaqua. It started by one patron asking if it was legal for me to be OC. I replied yes, then heasked why. So I responded with, "I Oc just so ppl like you ask me questions." It finally ended in a huge discussion out front with several ppl involved who i all referred to pafoa .

Glad you had a good encounter, especially that it ended in a discussion and referrals (we all know they don't all end that well).

How ironic is it, the I was one of the people who he spoke to last night? I personally carry concealed, but never really knew the laws about openly carrying my weapon. It was interesting information and glad I know. Knowledge is power!

    Pretty cool story!
I honestly consider myself fairly outgoing but do not OC for fear of the conflicts.
Maybe I am part of the problem I dont know.

The bottom line is it's a personal choice. I carry how I want to, and recognize that others have the right to do the same. Exercising your rights in the manner you choose is not being a problem. Criticizing others when their choice isn't the same as yours could be, though.

I don't think so. Just because you decide not to OC for yourself doesn't make you part of the problem.

I don't own any class 3 (full auto) weapons either.....but that doesn't bother me and I will and have stuck up for their ownership and use.

To me, being pro-2nd Am, means being pro all aspects of firearms ownership.

Sometimes our worst enemies are our own. The ones who say, "what do you need that (insert type of weapon here) for" or "why would you OC? you will ruin it for the rest of us".

I support everything, even the types of guns, or activities that don't appeal to me. It is the only way as I see it for all of us to protect OUR rights.
