My Holy Grail of Firearms
I been trying to buy this for over 15 years and the owner called me today and said that he might be willing to part this little sweetheart if the price is right (said that he was having a little problem with cash flow).
I almost was the owner 4 years ago when we were about $500 off on the price. So we will be taking about trades, cash, etc over the next week or two. Since I don't know his bottom line and he doesn't know my top price this ought to make for some interesting discussions.
We might even have to break out a bottle of good Scotch single malted and see if we can get 'er done.
Any ideas on the value of this beauty. Not that I would let this one get away.

I have no idea of the value of something like that, but I'll help you shoot it if it becomes yours.

“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquillity of servitude than the animating contest of freedom, — go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen!”
