Remington model11 ejection issues
Recently I picked up a remington m11 shotgun. I cleaned it well and I didnt find any broken parts or weird wear. Over last weekend, I took it out for testing and something strange was happening.
After firing the cartridge, the ejector seemed to be ripping the metal base off of the plastic hull, leaving the plastic hull within the chamber and ejecting the metal base only. This was occurring after I reset the friction rings for light/target loads, which is what I was shooting. The action was not cycling properly when set up for heavy loads, so I set it up for light loads.
Does anyone have any experience with this happening to them? Personally, I have never experienced this before.
Any advice out there to cure this aggressive ejection ? Thanks in advance.
