    Default new s&w 15-22 pistol???

    has anyone else seen these?

They totally slipped under my radar, and I saw one in person the other day at a local gun shop.

I want one really really bad. I have a 15-22 that I love, and I can't wait to get a pistol version. It has SBR written all over it I wonder how engraving is going to work on those polymer frames?

At $499 for an AR wannabe, I'll pass. While they do look cool, it's a .22.

It is a great looking pistol I handled one at targetmast earlier this week but for the price I'd rather get a plr in .223 which I plan on making my next purchase

Without trying to sound like a jerk, what would you use a 22lr or .223 pistol for? I could see how SBRing a pistol could be easier and concealment would be a +1, but what else??
I don't watch shark week. Sharks watch FLICK week.

AR15 style pistols are just a lot of fun to shoot and having a 22 cal version makes it cheaper than 5.56. a lot of people would argue what can you use a barrett 82a1 50 cal rifle for or some hunter who is only fond of his bolt action rifle might ask what is an ar15 good for since in PA it's illegal to hunt with. there doesn't have to be a practical use to justify any type of firearm and so long as it's something you want and can have fun with at the range is more than enough reason to justify having one.

I believe a member here won one at the Harrisburg 2A rally yesterday. Check the thread for comments on the rally.
